This was awful as I was sincerely hoping that a drinkable non-alcoholic red wine exists. Perhaps it does, but not this one. It tastes like the cheapest, foulest home-brewed red wine. It's so bad that I don't rule out having an off-lot. I manged half a glass, on Christmas day (!), and threw the rest out as you would not even cook with it. Sadly, I have another bottle, and also two whites and two sparkling whites to go. I'll get there eventually, but it would seem that, unlike beer, the process for removing the alcohol from wine also removes the taste and bouquet. Awful stuff.

We see that you reviewed our Chardonnay as well and have not found Noughty wine something that works for you. We understand that discovering new non-alcoholic wine can be a disappointing if you're looking for something that matches your favourite alcoholic wine. Non-alcoholic wine is never going to have the punch that ethanol gives wine.
We work hard to retain as much of the flavor profile and aromas as possible when dealcoholizing but it's a complex task and the results are not going to be for everyone. We encourage new customers to approach our bottles as a whole new drinking experience that is going to be more nuanced and subtle and not a mimic of alcoholic experiences.
We'll have to concede that we're not for you. We hope however that you do find a brand that does deliver what you're looking for in a non-alcoholic wine. Luckily, the no/low drinks sector is growing because of pioneers like us so you'll soon have much more choice in the marketplace.

Very sour and acidic. Not very drinkable.

When I drank my vice was red wine and I was so disappointed when I quit and couldn’t find any good substitutes. This is the closest to the “real thing” and it’s so good even my drinker friends still snag a glass when they’re over.
Price point definitely makes it a special occasion wine but it’s so nice to have a glass of red wine to relax with!

I've tried a handful of N/A red wines. Most taste like watered down grape juice. This one surprisingly has a decent nose and somehow a slight tannic finish. I'd say it would hold up to any fish/chicken dishes. Not terribly complex, but it's a valiant effort. I'm a sober bartender and have already told my team to add it to the N/A drink menu as an option.

Best non-alcoholic red I've tasted. And I'm picky.
